Review: Written in Stone by David Connor
The romance left me unmoved and nearly bored to be honest.

I don’t think I have closed a book as fast as this one before.
It’s more of a summary than a description, I think.
Thinking back, it could have been chapter 1 of a novel… I wouldn’t say no, if it ever gets written into one.
Bonus points for having a scene in which the reader sees Jed as a switch.
I really liked the atmosphere of this book. Scary at first and then just charming, really.
I was hugely disappointed, because I expected more.
I have read and liked many books of the Inspector Lynley series.
Carver disappears, then suddenly she is married to another (creepy) guy.
There isn’t happening much, but the depressing atmosphere really gets to you.
