Review: Gatekeepers & Dreamweavers by Helena Maeve
I was hugely disappointed, because I expected more.

Our main character – who isn’t the most intelligent mage there is, I’d say – for example uses the internet to get the pronunciations right.
This book’s description had me hooked.
The only thing that’s not so typical about him is, that he wants to be the dominating one the bedroom.
Carver disappears, then suddenly she is married to another (creepy) guy.
I really wanted to like this book. Lesbian assassin?! Sign me up!
Her biggest dream is to become a consul. Why? We don’t know.
And why is she so obsessed with his peppermint breath?
And I was really surprised how badly werewolves – or at least Gee – hear.
The thing I noticed the most is, how… childlike the children are.
