Review: Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell
I really enjoyed that there is no bad boy type. I’m really bored how so many of the love interests are (wannabe) bad boys and are truly just assholes.

The first third is so fucking good! McFadyen at his best. So gruesome and shocking and so very believable. Seriously, I wouldn’t be surprised if something like that would be real somewhere.
I just came out of blog vacation, which I took because of blogger’s block and some real life things.
And a big no go for me: The opponent, Jack, is thankful for being abused as a child by his father.
Apart from the lust problem, I had a chemistry problem.
A girl can’t remember a year of her life and then strange things start happening… only, not really.
It gets better when they move on to phone sessions at least.
Ignore the plot and settle in for some hot sex with a dominant woman.
And to be honest… I couldn’t take them seriously.
If I had to describe this book with one sentence, it would be “oh my god”.
