I was hugely disappointed, because I expected more.
Our main character – who isn’t the most intelligent mage there is, I’d say – for example uses the internet to get the pronunciations right.

I can be as determined as I want to be, some books are just pure torture.
But she somehow grew on me and the story itself got interesting.
This book’s description had me hooked.
I haven’t read a lot of debut novels this year, but there are some I really liked
