Review: Slate (Breaking the Declan Brothers) by Kelly Gendron

Don’t get me wrong, I liked the flashbacks to the characters’ childhood and how they fell in love.

Even though the theme is a difficult one, it’s an amusing read. I smirked more than once.

George really struggles with this, because Matthew is a really nice man but the evidence piles up…

This book took me on an emotional… well, it hasn’t been a rollercoaster. It just went down, down, deeper down.

So corporal domination wasn’t as bad as I feared it would be.

This is a really creepy book! Things you can only see if they’re reflected somewhere?

I love dystopian novels. I loved how violent this one was, how raw.

At first I thought it would be a story about finding love, a little bit of family drama, you know the drill.

The relationship between Nikolai and Henri was despite the kinky sex really cute and I would have liked to read more about it.
