Top Ten Tuesday: Queer Series to Catch up on

The Prompt

This week’s Top Ten Tuesday prompt is all about (queer) series to catch up and I can safely say I am actively working on said catching up on.

About Top Ten Tuesday

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

Queer Series I am catching up on right now

  • Fredrik Backman’s Beartown series
I am currently re-reading book two and after that one, I will get lost in the third book called The Winners. I’m so excited about it! After rereading books one and two again I can assure you, I fall in love with Fredrik’s writing and the way so many different issues are handled a little deeper with each reread. How is that even possible?
  • Charlie Cochet’s THIRDS series
I totally forgot how much I enjoyed Dex’s silliness and the way the whole team works together. I stopped the series after book four I think? But I started it again and plan to buy and read the other instalments after finishing Beartown.
  • Lila Mina’s Dragon Tamer
I’m keeping my fingers crossed book two will be published at the end of this year or maybe the beginning of next year. So of course I have to reread both the Temper series as well as How To Tame a Dragon. So not so much catching up on as preparing the ultimate enjoyment of the next book I guess?

There are quite a few other series I haven’t read all the published books of – yet – but Beartown and Thirds are those queer series I am actively catching up on, so I stuck to those books.

Which series are you catching up on right now or plan to do in the future?
