This month was a quiet one on the blogging front, but that’s okay. I took time and reread some old favourites of mine – and I’m so excited to dive into Fredrik Backman’s “The Winners”, which is part three of his Beartown series!

Queer Books Reviews in October 2022
- Review: Of Charms, Ghosts and Grievances by Aliette de Bodard
I came into it with high hopes for a diverse paranormal romance. I left defeated. - Review: Witch 13 by Patrick Delaney
My review reflects a different sort of horror, that’s for sure.

Bookish Reflections for October 2022
The plan was to offer you queer horror books for Halloween, but I didn’t read any recently I’d like to recommend. The two reviews I’ve published this month show as much. There was actually a third one planned, but I didn’t check my Book Blogging BuJo and therefore I ended up forgetting about it tbh. I also know why that happened, therefore I’m not feeling too miffed about it.
That’s definitely a lesson to keep in mind: Check my editorial calendar at least on a weekly schedule or make note of the to-do in my everyday Filofax. Let’s see how that works out in November!
What’s your favourite piece you’ve published and/or read this month? Let me know and link to it in the comments!
