Top 3 Author Duos who have to write a book together

As always this meme is hosted by The Broke and The Bookish. Go and take a look at their blog!

At first I thought this week’s theme would be a matter of a few minutes. But then it took me far more time to come up with authors I really want to write a book together. Of course I could say ‘hey, I like X and I like Y, so those two.’ But I wanted to put authors together who could fit. So a little bit harder than I anticipated. Oh well.

Sebastian Fitzek & Karin Slaughter

Just imagine it: The sick but still very realistic crimes Fitzek writes about and the loveable, interesting characters I so love from Slaughter? It would be especially thrilling for me if Sara Linton and Will Trent were to appear in Fitzek’s latest book Passagier 23 (review will be come soon!).

SE Jakes & Abigail Roux

I love both Hell or High Water and Cut & Run. Each series features interesting characters, made me laugh a little while reading and I plan to re-read both soon. Very soon. Anyway, Prophet and Tommy meeting Ty and Zane (maybe Sidewinder, too)? I’d like that very much. I think I wouldn’t even care what said book would be about. Just gimme the characters and the great writing style of both authors and I’d be happy.

Kelley Armstrong & Alexandra Bracken

I’ve got a YA duo, too! I read Darkest Powers and The Darkest Minds (I sense a pattern here) this year and I devoured both series. A book written by those two would feature great female characters and a great world building. Add the captivating writing style and you’re on for a fun ride.

  1. Oh my god, could you imagine Prophet and Ty meeting? They’d either be arrested or blow something up in the first five minutes!

But I don’t think my soul could take a collaboration between Hassell and Voinov… there are so many emotions, I’d probably just curl up in a ball and cry a lot!
