This week’s teaser gives you a look inside From Out in the Cold by L.A. Witt.
There was no one in the world I trusted more than him, and I’d never been as close to anyone as I was to him. I was too young and inexperienced to “get” the difference between love and, well, anything, but I did get that whatever I felt for him was more than just a physical craving. ~pos.1216
Teaser Tuesday is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of A Daily Rhythm. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

Fun game! Even though it’s Wednesday (in fact, it’s a minute to Thursday here), I want to play. I’m not sure how to find a random page on a kindle, so here are 2 sentences just from the page I’m on, from Ernest Cline’s new book, Armada, slightly edited to remove a spoiler:
“Why is the EDA waiting until the last minute to tell everyone about the invasion?” Whoadie asked. “That won’t give the world much time to prepare for the vanguard’s attack.”
“The world is already as prepared as it’s ever going to be.”

I really like reading those teasers because you get to know the author’s writing style.
Thank you for sharing your teaser!

I agree. That’s why I sneak a quote or two into my reviews (with publishers’ permission), if I can. Thanks for the fun game!
