Okay, so… today’s post is a difficult one. I have read books about diverse Characters (a lot of my reviews are of mogai-books) but celebration is… more in my eyes. But I’ll try my best.
No brainer: Maybe we’re all ghosts too. This is the most diverse book I have ever read. So many nationalities, the Hindu-Religion ‘versus’ Homosexuality, the main character is disabled, mental illnesses are part of the story, one of the characters is a sex worker, poverty is a theme, …
In the company of shadows Series. What are you waiting for? It’s for free. So unbelieveable good. m/m, one main character is a POC, the other has to deal with not looking like society expects a man to look like, mental illnesses…
The Lincoln Rhyme Series. The main character is disabled and it is a big point in the books, but more important is how he solves crimes.
The Cut & Run series. m/m, dealings with ptsd, addictions and solving crimes (I just love it okay?)
Capture & Surrender. m/m I can’t say much because the thing gets revealed later in the story, although you can guess it. It is part of a series but more or less stand alone.
So which diverse books can you recommend?
