I am not really into auto-buying… There are some I buy without checking but mostly those are new books in a series I’m liking, so that doesn’t really count.

Not many, huh? If you’ve read my latest Top Ten Post, you’ll notice how these are some of the authors I have read the most books of, but not all. Let’s take Karin Slaughter for example. I really like her Grant County Series und I just LOVE her Will Trent Series. Books who belong to those series get an auto-buy stamp. Standalones? Those I will check. And that’s the way it is with a lot of my favourite authors, so…
Do you have auto-buy authors? Why, why not?

I haven’t heard of any of these authors but it’s a very interesting list.
I don’t really auto buy authors I must admit – but every now and again I go and check out if they’ve got anything coming out and then I await it eagerly.

I try to do that but I always forget it. I’ve got a list with ARC-publication dates because otherwise I’d forget to post my reviews of them on Amazon. Maybe I should make a list like that for some authors…

I am not familiar with these authors cause there are just so MANY of them! 🙂 But on a serious note, I bet their books are beautiful.

They really are but you have to like the themes. Fitzek’s books for example are serious psychological thrillers…

I’m honestly not a true auto-buy type of reader either. There are authors who make my heart sing, though.
Here’s my Top Ten!

My friends are and I always feel a little odd, because I’m not. But just because I enjoyed a book by an author which deals with a serial killer, it’s not a given I’ll enjoy a book taking place at the time of WWII for example by the same author…

I feel so bad for not knowing any of these authors. I think Abigail Roux sounds familiar, but I don’t know? My list

You could know her Cut & Run series (which I can really recommend). Thanks for linking your list!
