I couldn’t believe my eyes when I checked the little note in my calendar. Ten years ago, I started The Queer Bookish – back then under the name Books to Get Lost In. It’s been a turbulent ten years, and if you’ve been following my blog, you went through the ups and downs with me.
Ten years full of changes. And I think it might be time for a change I was already considering back when I renamed my blog. There’s been a lot of queer book content, and that’s the way it’s going to stay. But I want to write bookish reviews as well. So every now and then – or maybe more often than that – I’ll feature some self-improve-y books and themes too.
There are already one or two books I have in mind. But before I get to them, I have to read and judge the last book on my list for the Indie Ink Awards 2024.
Thank you for sticking with me. Here’s to the next ten years filled with queer and bookish book content!
Best,
Ela
