Usually I’m a last minute writer – sometimes I can’t even manage to post it on Tuesday but instead it’s Wednesday or Thursday – so maybe you can imagine how excited I am about this week’s Top Ten Tuesday topic that I’ve sat down to write it way before. But you’re one of those bloggers who manage to prewrite a month’s worth of content way before it is due.
If you are, teach me your secrets!
There are many books I would have loved to discover sooner, a few I maybe should have read later – or not all. But for now I wanna focus on those that could’ve helped me find my way in life more quickly. Not that I have found that one way yet but I guess I’m at least headed in the right direction. With most of the following there is absolutely no chance of me having found them sooner because they’ve been published recently – or at least at a time when I was too old for the younger self I have in mind. But still.
There’s absolutely no reason why they are listed this way. But just looking at those covers makes me wanna buy those I don’t own as print copies yet and add them to my bookshelves.
Most of these count as comfort reads too and those that don’t offer comfort offer distraction and being able to absolutely lose myself in the words – so in a way they are comfort reads as well.
Is there a book – or books – for your younger self? Or maybe some you would strongly advise your younger self to never read it?
